Portrait of Elodie Pinero
1. Can you introduce yourself?
I'm Elodie Pinero, a 29-year-old passionate Scenographer. My creative expressions primarily manifest through luxury and fashion events, as well as interior architecture projects for individuals. I split my time between Paris and Lisbon, where I have the opportunity to work with brands worldwide.
2. What brought you here (your professional background, education, events...)?
Creativity has been my means of expression since childhood. I found comfort in creating, painting, drawing, and crafting clothes using fabric scraps, nurturing my dream of becoming a stylist. Following my artistic inclination, I pursued applied arts after high school, offering a broad learning experience in art and design. This path led me to discover my passion for event scenography, particularly in projects with narratives and emotional resonance. After a transformative experience in Montreal, specializing in event management, I honed my skills in luxury and fashion, aligning with the dream I'd held since youth.

3. What do you particularly enjoy about working in the field of architecture and design?
Architecture and design, for me, are not just disciplines but an endless playground, a constant source of discovery. I appreciate the ability to be continually surprised by new architecture, materials, and designs. It's an opportunity to define who we are and convey our essence through our work, with each artist/designer contributing their unique personality, sensitivity, and history, creating the beauty and multidisciplinarity of this field.
4. Do you have a specific approach in your projects and designs?
Guided by simplicity, minimalism, and the creation of emotions, my approach involves simplicity with a keen attention to detail. Balancing simplicity and subtlety characterizes my work, aiming to create spaces with a clean aesthetic, visual harmony, and deep emotional resonance, offering a genuine sensory experience.

5. Is there a specific type of project you particularly enjoy working on?
I thrive on challenging projects that push me beyond the usual boundaries, whether in event scenography or interior space planning. Variety is essential, and I draw inspiration from this diversity to continually refresh my sources of creativity.
6. Where do you find your inspiration? What is your creative process?
Having moved frequently in my youth allowed me to absorb different places, cultures, and energies, creating memories and experiences that influence my work today. Everything around me – culinary compositions, films, artworks, textures, images, travel memories – can be a potential source of inspiration. My creative process begins with immersing myself in a brand's identity, translating visions into mood boards, visualizing ideas mentally before sketching them on paper.
7. Do you have a favorite creation/project, and does it hold symbolic value for you?
Perhaps not the best project, but certainly the most symbolic for me, was the first project I worked on – a runway show for RAMI KADI at the Georges V Hotel in Paris. It represented the realization of everything I had dreamed of, a pivotal moment where aspirations transformed into tangible reality.

8. Are there any material(s) that particularly speak to you/that you prioritize in the creations you exhibit? Why?
Wood, for me, is a living, noble material that brings character and authenticity to every project. Each wood type tells its own story and enriches the space it occupies.
9. Do you have a mentor whose work or creations you'd like to share?
While I may not have had a mentor, I've had the privilege of working with talented individuals, learning from each of them. My father, a gourmet chef, inspired me in my younger years, encouraging me to pursue what I loved. His passion for aesthetics and detail guided me in seeking harmony in my work.
9. Do you have specific information you'd like to share? Techniques you use, other materials you like to mix, or your brand concept?
I enjoy exploring different mediums and tools. Currently, I'm experimenting with 3D and artificial intelligence, pushing creative boundaries to bring ideas to life with freedom.
